Rangers Training Ground, Rangers Football Club Ltd
Alongside our work with Rangers Football Club and Morris & Spottiswood at Ibrox Stadium, the McLennan Partnership were employed to undertake a full architectural design service to develop and deliver a design to upgrade and refurbish various zones within the Rangers Training Ground.
This included a fully refurbished entrance reception with new reception desk, media room and refurbished press room including new fixed seating and press room desk.
These works also involved a full redesign of the first team shower room and toilets, new extended kit room with analyst’s office, as well as a newly refurbished youth team entrance hallway and youth team dining area, including a new management changing/shower room.
Modern vinyl graphics have also been installed to chart the team’s successes within the main first team and press room entrance.
Works included:
- Full Feasibility and Concept Design
- Architectural Design
- Interior Design
- Principle Designer
The works commenced during the close season to be ready for the start of the new season and the majority of the works were completed during the pre-season training period while the building was still in use by both first team and youth team players and staff. This provided significant challenges for the designers and the Principle Contractor to phase and manage the work areas and ensure the works did not intrude on the pre-season training activities of both the First Team and Youth Teams.
